Achieving the Ultimate in Energy Savings
Computer power densities are approaching the limits of air cooled technology. Clustered Systems has developed a unique liquid cooling technology without any of the previous generation’s drawbacks.
The graph below confirms the superior performance of Clustered's Touch Cooling. It was created from data collected by Lawrence Berkeley Labs as part of the Chill-Off 2 testing of competing cooling systems.
You can explore the site by following the links below or, to get right into the meat, go straight to the Energy Seeker Section which shows where power is dissipated as it travels from the utility connection to the CPU chips. Legacy air systems and Clustered's Touch Cooling system are compared. An analysis of the physics of cooling with air, water and refrigerant shows the cooling energy requirements of each one.

We make high performance electronics cooling systems for servers, storage systems and related applications. We also design, sell and license adapters to enable standard volume servers to be used with racks made to our specifications.
Computers and networking equipment are reaching power densities that make air cooling difficult and expensive. Liquid cooling also has historically been complex, expensive and difficult to deploy. Realizing this, we set out to develop a cooling system that would bring all the advantages of liquid cooling that could be produced in high volume at low cost.
Our systems:
- Reduce existing data center energy consumption up to 50%
- Reduce new build capital expenditure by 50% or more
- Are compatible with existing infrastructure and practices
- Are capable of capable of providing adequate cooling with coolant temperatures in excess of 30oC
- Can cool multiple CPUs/GPUs with greater than 200W consumption
- Are ideal for container applications
