October 2010: Clustered Systems shines at Chill-Off 2
The Chill-Off 2 was sponsored by Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG) and conducted by Data Center Pulse and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). Eleven cooling systems for rack mounted computer equipment were evaluated and compared for their cooling effectiveness and their energy. The results were summarized for the California Energy Commission by LBNL. Find out how Clustered Systems emerged from this contest by reading the LBNL report and see the video.

December 2009:
Clustered Systems' team awarded $2.8M Recovery Act funding to develop a Very Dense Compute Platform.
The team consists of Clustered Systems EMTEC, Liebert, Inc. and the Stanford Linear Accelerator's (SLAC) computing department. A two rack system will be built and installed at a SLAC site. Each rack will be capable of powering and cooling 100 kilowatts and supporting 320 high power CPUs. Leading edge energy saving techniques will be employed. No chiller will be employed for system cooling, only cooling tower water.
May 2009: Clustered Systems Company and Liebert, Inc. sign reseller agreement.
Under the agreement Liebert will incorporate Clustered's server cooling hardware into its racks and distribute the products worldwide
Nov 17 - 20 2008: Clustered Systems Exhibits at SC08 in Austin TX.
SLAC's (Stanford Linear Accelerator) provided booth space as part of their effort to provide visibility of new and promising technologies
October 8 2008: Clustered Systems' racks selected for inclusion in Chill-Off 2.
This program, sponsored by the Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG) and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories is designed to enable comparative testing between various energy saving technologies. Clustered Systems is the sole startup out of the six companies participating in the cooling segment. See Dean Nelson's presentation for more details.
